Product description
Hibiscus Eruption is a hardy, deciduous shrub with large, glossy, lobed leaves which remain dark green in colour with showy purple variegation throughout the season. Like its name suggests, it will produce an abundance of attractive large, semi-double, hot pink flowers with red eyes and white anthers at the end of the stems from mid-summer all the way to early Autumn. A fine stand-alone specimen or reliable addition to a border, it will also make a great informal hedge or screen. Very low maintenance and once established it requires little if any regular pruning.
Plant this vibrant variety in a wind sheltered location where it will get full or partial sun. It grows best in neutral to slightly acidic soils and water well at the time of planting.

Top Tip
Hibiscus thrives in warm temperatures, so ensure it gets enough sunlight and protection from frost.
How to Water
Water Hibiscus regularly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not soggy. Water deeply to encourage root growth, especially during dry periods. Avoid wetting the leaves to prevent fungal diseases.
How to Plant
Plant Hibiscus in well-drained soil with plenty of sunlight. Dig a hole twice the size of the root ball, place the plant in, and backfill with soil. Ensure the top of the root ball is level with the ground.
