A small, very slow-growing dwarf yew with tightly packed upright branches forming a neat column. The narrow green leaves are edged with gold; as this is a male form it does not produce poisonous fruits. A miniature version of the golden Irish yew, perfect for the small garden, adding colour and form throughout the year.
Plant in full sun or partial shade at the front of beds or in narrow borders. Ideal for the rock or gravel garden. Ideal for pots and containers.
Any well-drained fertile soil. Good on chalk. Use a loam-based compost in pots and containers. Cover surrounding soil with grit or gravel to keep foliage free from soil splash. No pruning required.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to encourage growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves. Collections or 'mixed' listings for plants will be selected dependant on availability and carefully hand-picked to ensure their quality.
