The bulbs can be planted together for a traditional garden display or split between pots and containers to create a contemporary effect on a patio or balcony.

Ever popular with gardeners of all abilities, tulips are distinctive flowers with an almost symmetrical appearance. They are relatively sturdy and stand tall and proud, even if the spring weather doesn’t quite meet expectations.

These spring flowering bulbs should be planted in autumn. For best results plant in full sun or partial shade in well draining soil. If planting in a pot or container, ensure there are plenty of drainage holes in the bottom.
