Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Hardy evergreen succulent with tightly rounded rosettes of waxy, pointed bright lime green leaves which gain hues of red in the cooler months.
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 0.1 – 0.5m.s
Period of Interest: Year-round foliage interest. Lime green foliage with flushes of purple red through the Autumn and Winter. Grows smaller rosettes which it uses to spread and propagate.
Water & Maintenance: Plant in moderately fertile, well-drained soil. Keep in full sun. Hardy and tolerant of most soil types and conditions. Drought resistant. Protect from waterlogging and excessive Winter wet.
Sempervivum ‘Key Lime Kiss’ is a tough evergreen perennial succulent and part of the Chick Charms® range of succulents. This plant, also commonly known as Hens & Chicks, consists of clusters of near identical, tightly rounded rosettes of waxy, pointed, bright lime green leaves which carry hints of purple and red during the colder months in Autumn and Winter. A great option for sandy, poor soils, rockeries or succulent displays alongside other Sempervivum.
Plant in moderately fertile, well-drained soil and keep in full sun in a sheltered or exposed position. Tolerates most locations, conditions and soil types. Prefers gritty, free draining soil mixes. Highly drought resistant. Susceptible to Winter wet and waterlogged areas.
