Beetroot seeds are a very popular thing to plant in British gardens and allotments. The good news is beetroot are fairly easy to grow in the UK as well, although sometimes gardeners make the mistake of planting too many at the same time. It is advised to stagger your beetroot seed planting to allow your tasty beetroot to develop well without other beetroot plants encroaching on their space. Beetroot seeds are also great for planting in troughs, pots and containers - and can even be grown in kitchen window boxes. Beetroots remain popular in the UK and are often used in cuisine for additional flavour and the distinct purple colouring they provide.
