Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Compact upright evergreen conifer with bright green foliage turning to blue-green as it matures.
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height of 1 – 2m and spread of 1 – 1.5m.
Water & Maintenance: Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Prefers slightly acidic soils and is tolerant of partial shade.
A popular breed of spruce, the picea glauca ‘Conica’ or White Spruce is a dwarf variety with a rigid, cone-shaped upright habit. The branches grow short and uniform creating the dense shape of the conifer and carry fine, needle-like light green foliage which gains a tinge of blue as it matures. This spruce is the perfect choice for smaller gardens where space is at a premium, fitting nicely as part of rockeries and mixed border layouts.
Plant in moist, well-drained soils. Grows best in slightly acidic soils and in colder climates. Can struggle in warmer temperatures and more humid climates.
