Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.

Pennisetum Setaceum Rubrum is a popular variety that is extremely showy and considered least invasive of all Fountain Grasses, as it rarely seeds. Also known as the Purple Fountain Grass, this upright clump-forming shrubby grass is a herbaceous annual, that features stunning foliage colours. It forms a neat and compact mound of purple-burgundy grass-like leaves. This a tough grass that is easy to grow and requires low maintenance.
Rubrum Purple is compact in growth, providing fine texture and colours in low perky areas of a garden. It produces long grass-like narrow leaves in burgundy-purples tones that arch like a fountain from the base of the plant. In summer, one can notice tall spikes of reddish-brown flowers that resemble foxtails. There is no doubt that the flowering is abundant and the impact it creates in a garden, is simply majestic.
Fountain Grasses can adapt to a variety of growing conditions and do not demand much upkeep either. Plant it in full sun to partial shady spot. It will thrive in a moist and rich fertile soil that is well-drained. Ensure that its roots should not experience any water logging or else they will tend to rot.
Water the grass moderately and frequently in the dry periods. These annual plants need some pruning every year as their leaves die to the ground in winter. Simply trim any dead or damaged leaves in spring.
Pennisetum Rubrum is an excellent choice for beds and borders. Use it in large garden containers that will decorate your patio. Their fountain-like appearance is simply dramatic when planted as a centrepiece.
