Laurus Nobilis is a wonderful evergreen shrub that grows into a small tree, popular for use as houseplants in containers. Also known as Bay Laurel or True Laurel, this Laurus plant features excellent dark green foliage that will decorate your patio all year long. Its famous Bay leaves can be used for garnishing soups and stews, adding delicious taste and fragrance to the food. Laurus Nobilis is native to the Mediterranean and holds great culinary value.
Bay Laurel is a dioecious or unisexual plant with male and female flowers on separate plants. It blooms pale yellow-green flowers that are not very significant in appearance. It is the green glabrous leaves of this plant that sets it apart. If you plant it near the walls or pathways, the leaves will release a sweet aromatic scent when bruised together. The leaves can be utilized fresh or dried.
Laurus Nobilis will prefer a sunny location but will perform no less in partial shade or dense shade. It will thrive in any soil that is moderately fertile, can retain moisture and is regularly drained. Plant them in a sheltered location, protected from cold winds.
This is a highly pest and disease resistant plant. Even though it is popularly grown in containers, it is much hardier when planted in the ground.
Bay Laurel trees are cultivated for their use as food flavouring spices and also for their medicinal uses. Its leaves provide relief and ailment for indigestion. Grow them outdoors as hedge or screen. They make interesting specimen plants for shady corners in a herb garden and woodland garden.

On the generous side of the measurements given and look healthy. Has multiple shoots so will attempt to re pot some to make more shrubs.

Excellent condition
Quickly shipped, carefully packaged and in excellent condition. I ordered two of these plants, and there are multiple stems in each pot, so I plan to separate them into numerous pots and/or make cuttings from some of the stems. If I end up with numerous bay plants it will be very good value for money!
