CHARACTERISTICS: Prunus Laurocerasus Etna Laurel Hedge plants are evergreen shrubs with dense and bushy foliage. Leaves are rustic copper when new, eventually turning to vibrant, glossy green with creamy white flowers blooming in spring.

HEIGHT AND SPREAD: Supplied in a dormant state, Prunus Laurocerasus Etna Laurel outdoor plants which can eventually grow to an ultimate height of approximately 2.5 metres and an ultimate spread of approximately 2 metres. The best time to prune is from early to mid-spring or autumn each year.

PLANTING TIPS: Bare-Root hedging is typically planted in a double staggered row of 5 plants per metre. Evergreen plants are generally planted to less density than deciduous plants, such is the nature of their dense foliage.

Prunus Laurocerasus Etna Laurel Hedge plants are garden shrubs which are perfect as bushy hedging or for creating garden screening for privacy. Young leaves emerge in stunning shades of warm, rustic bronze before turning to vibrant, glossy green as they mature. In spring, spikes of creamy flowers bloom, attracting pollinators before making way for glossy berries in autumn.

These garden plants are perfect for hedging thanks to their attractive, dense foliage and hardiness – they will grow well in most soil types, in cold exposed areas and even in shade. They are relatively low maintenance shrubs but can be pruned in spring or autumn to maintain their size and shape.
