Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Compact, evergreen conifer with a spreading habit and yellow-green, scale-like foliage turning to pink-red in Winter.
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height of 0.2 – 1m and spread of 1 – 1.5m.
Period of Interest: Year-round foliage gaining hues of pink and red in the colder months.
Water & Maintenance: Plant in any well-drained soils. Keep in full or partial sun. Tolerant of drought and poor soils once established.
A variety of Juniper with bright scale-like yellow-green foliage, almost lime coloured as its name suggests. It is a low-growing, spreading evergreen conifer that it is perfect for bedding, sloped banks or rockeries and will spread similar to Creeping Juniper which makes it a great option for groundcover as well.
Plant in any well-drained soil and keep in full or partial sun. Drought tolerant once established. Survives well in poorer soils. Avoid overwatering and constantly wet soils as this may cause root damage.
