Rosemary Sissinghurst Blue is a commonly used culinary herb, mostly renowned for its highly fragrant edible leaves. The evergreen shrub will suit growing in a pot indoors, a patio container, a herb garden, raised bed, or even as a scented garden border.
Its distinct, strong and woodsy herbal fragrance complements a variety of dishes: soups, stews, tomato sauces, sausages, lamb, goat, stuffing and many more. The herb can be used freshly picked off the plant, or dried for later use and longer longevity.
In summer, the Rosemary will release small, blue flowers – these can be used as drink or food garnish, and take well to drying just like the leaves.
