Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Flourishing Season: Flourishes in spring, summer and winter, Mar - Oct
Water & Maintenance: Regular watering when young, low maintenance required
Hedera Gold Ivy is an invasive, aggressively growing trailing vine with distinct thick green leaves decorated by nature with yellow-golden margins. Ivy plants are known for their variegated leave shape and colour. This evergreen shrub is drought tolerant and its hardy foliage is best suited for low maintenance landscape gardens to cover walls and fences.
Gold Ivy will thrive in a well-drained fertile and moist soil. Its healthy and bright foliage does well with enough indirect sunlight. Gold Ivy is commonly grown as an indoor plant and not providing sufficient sunlight causes the leaves to turn yellow.
Use Gold Ivy along borders, flower beds, in containers or to cover the ground to suppress weeds. Outdoors, Ivy plants can be planted to cover walls, fences and trellises since they actively trail and cling to the surfaces.
Ivy plants are considered invasive, they need to be pruned properly to maintain their shape and size. These plants with trailing habits are easy to care for and demand a low nitrogen fertilizer feed only when they are young.
Spray the plant with water to avoid spider mites as they are attracted by the foliage to lay eggs. Hedera Ivy plants will keep the freshness in your garden during winters. They bear blue-black berries that are mildly toxic in nature.
Direct contact with the plant can cause skin irritation. Regardless of its invasive nature, Hedera Gold Ivy plant will create a unique presence in your garden.
