Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Mound-forming semi-evergreen perennial grass with yellow-green leaves tinted with purple-red.
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 0.1 – 0.5m.
Flourishing Season: Insignificant flower spikes may rarely appear in the late Summer.
Water & Maintenance: Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Keep in partial or shaded areas. Tolerates dark damp areas.
Hakonechloa ‘Sunflare’ sometimes known as Hakone Grass or Japanese Forest Grass is a compact herbaceous perennial that works beautifully as groundcover for any part in the garden, including the dark, shaded and moist areas where other cultivars would have difficulty establishing and thriving. It boasts beautiful chartreuse foliage tinged with burgundy colouration along the arching leaves, with the chartreuse intensifying under the Sun and the burgundy grower deeper with the coming of Autumn.
Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Can be kept in sunny or shaded areas for different effects. Prefers shaded, moist areas and will thrive nicely in these locales. Low maintenance with minimal or non-existent green flowers.
