• Characteristics: Thornless, deciduous shrub. This fruit plant bears green Summer leaves that turn to red in Autumn. White flowers bloom in Spring, then sweet Gooseberries grow and ripen from late Spring into Summer.
• Growth and Spread: Ultimate height and spread of 3m.
• Period of Interest: Flowers in early-mid Spring and fruit will appear as the year progresses into Summer.
• Water and Maintenance: Place the plant in bright, indirect sunlight. Moist, well-drained soil is preferred and water is required when the soil is dry to touch.

Our Ribes uva-crispa Captivator is a deciduous fruit plant that will grow tasty fruit during Summer. The plants elegant, white flowers will bloom in Spring, before its green Summer foliage takes on a red hue in Autumn. The delicious fruit will then begin to grow, ripening from late Spring into Summer, ready to pick and include within a variety of everyday meals, juices and more.

They will grow to an ultimate height and spread of 3m. In terms of plant care, it should be placed in bright, indirect sunlight and planted in moist, well-drained soil. Watering becomes essential when the soil is dry to touch.
