This Westland Watering Indicator lets you know when your plant requires water. The indicator is easy to read with a red display showing your plant needs watered and blue showing no water is required at the moment. Once you’ve watered your plant the red window will return to blue within around 2 hours.

Not only does the indicator prevent soil from drying out, it also helps with over watering. If you’re unsure how often your plant needs moisture added then this is a great tool to ensure you don’t water it too often, or indeed not often enough.

This simple but effective tool comes ready to use and works throughout the year with all your indoor houseplants. The stick will last approximately 12-18 months before needing replaced (by which time you’ll likely have got into a routine and know how much water your plant requires).

Top Tip: Gently push the stick into the centre of the plant’s rootball for an accurate reading.
