Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: As deciduous, compact, upright, bushy Fuchsia shrub with a dwarf plant habit, showing off single, red and mauve pendulous blossoms from June-October.
Growth & Spread: Can reach an ultimate height of 60cm and spread of 30cm.
Period of Interest: Bi-coloured red and mauve flowers June-October.
Water & Maintenance: During the growing season water regularly. Cut back to permanent framework in early spring.
Fuchsia 'Tom Thumb is a compact, deciduous shrub with an upright, self-branching habit. This really lovely fuchsia has ovate, dark green leaves and is covered in masses of small, single bell-shaped blooms that flower over a long period from June to October. The attractive flowers have red-pink corollas and sepals as well as mauve tubes. Its dwarf variety is perfect for planting in borders, rock gardens and containers or for creating a colourful low hedge.
Plant in fertile, moist, well-drained soil and in full sun or partial shade. Water regularly, applying a balanced liquid fertiliser each month during the growing season. Pinch out the growing tips of young plants after the sixth or seventh pair of leaves to encourage continuous growth. Cut back to the permanent framework in early spring.
