Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: A semi-evergreen, hardy, low-growing fuchsia variety, displaying variegated cream, green and red-flushed foliage with pink and purple bi-coloured, pendant bell-like flowers.
Growth & Spread: Can reach an ultimate height and spread of 50cm.
Period of Interest: Year-round foliage interest. Bi-coloured pink and purple flowers June-October.
Water & Maintenance: During the growing season water regularly. Cut back to permanent framework in early spring.
Fuchsia 'Sunray' is a semi-evergreen, hardy shrub with a fast-growing, spreading habit. This truly attractive Fuchsia displays unusual, variegated cream, green and red-flushed foliage. It acts as a show-stopping backdrop to the pretty, bell-shaped flowers that have reddish-pink buds and open to reveal a plush purple corolla. This variety is low-growing and ideal for planting in containers but equally suitable for planting in the garden border to allow to grow progressively over the years.
It prefers moist, well drained soil and is hardy, but may need protection from the worst of the frosts. Plant in full sun or partial shade. During the growing season water regularly. Pinch out the growing tips of your fuchsia plants once, to promote bushier growth and more flowers. The variegated leaves will remain on the plant through the winter if left unpruned. Cut back to the permanent framework in early spring.
