Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Potted apple trees are perfect for growing in patio containers, small gardens and borders. They are easy to grow specimens which will produce heavy crops of nutritious & fresh fruits. Apple family fruit trees are low maintenance plants with stunning Spring/Summer blossom and vibrant Autumn foliage.
Supplied as a unique apple fruit tree, this tree has been manually grafted together, so it appears as one tree bearing five different apple varieties - Elstar, James Grieve, Golden Delicious, Jonagold and Summerred apples. Each tree is unique in terms of potential height and spread, but all patio fruit trees will produce large quantities of nutritious and fresh apples.
These patio fruit trees are known for their hardy and compact structure, resulting in them being a fairly low maintenance plant to monitor and care for. Protect your tree and any early blossom against frost and harsh winters. It is recommended to check if you need other plants to help pollination as the tree develops.
It is recommended to plant fruit trees in any well-drained soil, situated in a sheltered sunny position. Feed and water the trees regularly to allow them to settle into their new environment. Most fruit trees should be pruned back during their dormant stage in the Winter period - this will encourage new and developed growth for the following season.
