Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Bushy, deciduous tree with a spreading habit and mid-green foliage which turns to pink in Autumn.
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height of 4 – 8m and spread of 2 – 4m.
Flourishing Season: Cluster of tiny purple-green flowers surrounded by large, broad cream-white bracts in the late Spring.
Water & Maintenance: Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Keep in full or partial sun. Full sun tolerated but may cause leaf scorch.
Cornus ‘Porlock’ is a breed of Flowering Dogwood, well known for being a hardy and easy to grow cultivar. This species is noted for its deep green foliage, changing with the seasons to end up as a bright pink in the Autumn months. Tiny purple-green flowers emerge above the foliage surrounded by large white bracts which also shift and change with the seasons, gaining a red-pink hue as the year wears on.
A low maintenance, easy to grow tree. Plant in moist, well-drained soil and keep in full or partial sun. The foliage is susceptible to leaf scorch under full sun during the warm Summer months in some climates.
