Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Flourishing Season: June - October, blooms throughout mid-summer to early autumn
Water & Maintenance: Needs enough water and feed, medium maintenance
This Clematis plant, commonly known as Clematis Florida ‘Seiboldii’ is appreciated for its striking flower colours. It is a starter plant which looks adorable when planted over an arch or against a sunny, shielded wall. Clematis Florida can be grown in 45cm deep containers, though if you want to create a spectacular display in your garden, it is recommended to plant it outdoors.
Clematis Florida is never shy from showing off its creamy white petals that enclose a central mass of healthy purple stamens. The dark heads of the stamens add to the beauty of these flowers. The seed heads continue to dazzle as flowers start fading during late summer and autumn.
It is amazing how creative nature can be and its grace can be seen in Clematis Florida. When planted in deep well-drained and humus-rich soil, this Clematis plant can grow up to a height of 2.5 metres. It requires medium level of maintenance that includes a fertiliser feed every two weeks during the growing season.
Prune Clematis Florida in Feb-Mar by cutting stems until 35-40 cm above soil. Its roots prefer shade, spread mulch around the roots with organic manure or compost for the same.
Even though maintaining this climber plant might require some basic gardening experience, the ornamental display its flowers put into a cottage garden will be worth the care.
Transform your garden walls and fences into a floral showpiece with Clematis Florida ‘Seiboldii’.
