The Chinese Elm Bonsai Tree in its native habitat can grow to 25 meters. However, the form here is meant to fulfill your interest in a relaxing Bonsai Tree relationship. This petite tree will be dependent on your care to sustain itself.
This tree is a good starter tree for those who are interested in beginning a relationship with these darling little plants. The tree is a good variety for tolerating mistakes in watering and pruning. It will provide you with feedback when it is doing well.
Regular pruning with Bonsai sheers is encouraged and recommended for you and the tree. The petite oval-shaped leaves grow quickly. An additional aspect of maintenance is to help train the plant using wire into the shape you would like. An “umbrella” shape is a common bonsai shape.
Our Elm Bonsai Trees come planted in a 15 cm decorative pot with traditional Asian lines. Although transporting and moving can unsettle the plant initial, this variety of Bonsai is quick to settle in and will adjust with ease. It is a perfect tree for a beginner due to its resilience.
They enjoy sunlight and fresh air, but they need balance, too much of either and the plant will react accordingly. The Chinese Elm Bonsai is a hardier Bonsai variety that needs your care and attention.

Initial impression
Received my Bonsai Elm today and I am delighted. I am new to Bonsai but my first impression is very favourable. The tree looks great and I look forward to seeing how it grows.
I shall certainly be back for more very soon.
