Our GardenersDream plant pot cover provides a stylish look and feel to your houseplants, perfect for placing anywhere around the home. Ideal for pot sizes between 12-13cm, this quality cover is made from 100% recyclable plastic and offers long lasting durability against wear and tear.
Simply fit the standard pot containing the plant into the cover, eliminating the need for more potting compost. This covering is also watertight so no need to worry about water spilling out.
Characteristics: The Calathea Magicstar is an indoor plant with striking features and a beautiful array of colour upon the top and bottom of its leaves. The top consists of a lovely dark green shade with sporadic white markings. Whereas, the bottom of the each leaf has a distinct deep red hue, offsetting the green foliage perfectly. The plant is also air-purifying, meaning it will clear the air of any harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins.
Plant Advice: When caring for the Magicstar, you will have to water it on a bi-weekly basis, ensuring that the soil dries every-so-slightly between waterings. During the periods between watering, you can mist the plant to heighten the humidity levels; the Magicstar will appreciate this. When placing the plant somewhere indoors, ensure it is a location where direct sunlight is not a constant feature - this will damage the plants leaves in the long term.

A very striking and visually appealing plant to house, the Calathea Magicstar is a member of the Calathea genus, which is a genus that have always had a great reputation. They provide plant lovers with extremely attractive foliage and overall appearance, adding to many indoor environments with no trouble at all. The plants leaves are a beautiful mix of glossy dark green with white accents on top, with a deep red underside, providing a great contrast in colour. The Magicstar loves humid environments, so a bathroom or conservatory is one location you could situate it. However, any home or office space is also suitable. Water the plant on a bi-weekly basis and mist the plant in the periods between this.
