Characteristics: The Calathea Orbifolia is a beautiful plant to place indoors. With its exquisite array of beauty in the green foliage colouring and unique structure of leaves and the way they droop over each other, it’s no surprise that this air-purifying plant is much sought after. The green foliage is joined by silver-green subtle stripes on top, adding an element of class and style to the Peacock Plant.
Plant Advice: The Orbifolia doesn’t appreciate direct sunlight but it does prefer light over shade. If possible, ensure you give the plant the best conditions to grow in as this will only improve the plants foliage. Watering must be done so that the soil is damp at all times. Little but often is a good policy to follow with this plant.

The Calathea Orbifolia is a plant with neat and elegant looking green foliage with silver-green stripes on top of each leaf. The leaves give the plant a fine finish in regard to its overall appearance. It will look tremendous when placed in a pot in any indoor environment. You can situate the plant in a bathroom, sitting room, window sill, office just to name a few. It will take minimal amounts of care throughout a calendar year, providing the soil is kept damp at all times, without over-watering the plant at any point.
