Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Flourishing Season: Flourishes in early spring to late summer, blooms last for weeks
Water & Maintenance: Average watering required, generally low maintenance shrubs
Buddleja ‘Pink Delight’ is a beautiful, colourful medium-sized shrub that blooms excellent rich pink flowers from early to late summer, sometimes lasting until the first frost season. It is commonly known as Butterfly Bush because it acts as attraction for butterflies and bees.
This Buddleja plant will add a perfect flowering, drought tolerant and hardy bush to your wildflower garden.
The vibrant display of pink flowers of Buddleja is enhanced by contrasting deep green narrow leaves with white-grey undersides. These leaves grow on arched stems which look like a colourful fountain adorned by dense clusters of pink flowers.
This plant is suitable for a pool area, patio area and small gardens, as it grows up to a height of 2 metres. Grow it at the back of a sunny border in well-drained soil provided with an organic mulch to ensure soil moisture. Buddleja bush tends to become weedy and might start resulting into lower flowering performance if it is not exposed to enough sunlight.
It is an easy to grow flowering shrub as it requires low maintenance. Once established, these plants will grow up hardy and tough. Prune the faded flowers in late winter every year for a continuous blooming until frost.
The Buddleja plant will bloom for several weeks if the old flowers are removed timely. Pink Delight Butterfly bush is noted for its bushy habit and for its fragrant and showy flowers.
