• Characteristics: Hardy shrub. A heavy cropping variety that produces sweet and tasty Blackcurrant fruits. They will fruit in late July, ready to include in everyday meals.
• Growth and Spread: Ultimate height and ultimate spread of 1.5m.
• Period of Interest: Fruits will begin to appear in July.
• Water and Maintenance: Place the plant in bright, indirect sunlight. Moist, well-drained soil is preferred and water is required when the soil is dry to touch.

Our Ribes nigrum Kopania is a hardy shrub that produces lovely, Blackcurrant fruit. These are all edible and will bring a rich and tasty flavour to everyday meals or when eaten individually. Their dark green foliage is perfect for blending the plant with other garden plants. This variety is also frost tolerant and will grow in a bushy manner, filling any area of the garden effectively.

They will grow to an ultimate height and spread of 1.5m. In terms of plant care, it should be placed in bright, indirect sunlight and planted in moist, well-drained soil. Watering becomes essential when the soil is dry to touch.
