• Period of Interest: Flowers in Spring and fruits will begin to appear in mid-Summer.
• Water and Maintenance: Place the plant in bright, indirect sunlight. Moist, well-drained soil is preferred and water is required when the soil is dry to touch.

Our Ribes nigrum Ben Lomond is a compact, deciduous shrub that produces tasty, edible Blackcurrant fruit. The plant will also grow pale green flowers in Spring that contrast great against the dark green foliage of this variety. The fruit will be ready to harvest in Summer, meaning you will have an abundance of delicious fruit to include in a variety of meals.

They will grow to an ultimate height and spread of 1.5m. In terms of plant care, it should be placed in bright, indirect sunlight and planted in moist, well-drained soil. Watering becomes essential when the soil is dry to touch.
