Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Upright, deciduous tree. This Betula variety possesses neat, white bark and mid-green leaves. The exfoliating bark provides year-round interest, maintaining its birch look throughout every season.

More commonly known as Himalayan Birch, this variety prefers to be grown in fertile, moist and well-drained soil, meaning regular watering is necessary for adequate progression. It can be grown in full sunlight or partial shade. The ultimate height and spread of this Betula is 5m in height and 3m in spread, over the course of 20 years.
