• Characteristics: The Begonia rex Lambada is an indoor plant with a gorgeous pink colour on the base of each leaf. That pink shade is joined by a deep veining throughout, along with a clustered leaf formation which adds a style and character to the plant that allows it to be a very attractive Rex Begonia to house. The King Begonia will also bring effective air-purifying qualities to the room, removing any harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins in favour of a fresher, more cleanly atmosphere.
• Plant Advice: Begonia Rex Lambada should be placed in partial shade. This should be coupled with the avoidance of any direct sunlight as it will cause harmful leaf damage as time goes on. Watering should be carried out when the soil is dry to touch. This can be continued on a once-a-week basis throughout the year, until the Winter dormant period when these levels should drop to once every two weeks.

Rex Begonias, commonly known as King Begonia, are best known for their striking foliage. This Lambada variety boasts a beautiful pink base colour on each individual leaf, with the look being completed in a deep shaded veining that seaps out to the edges of the foliage. The clustered leaf formation is a feature that means anyone who passes by this plant will have their attention diverted, largely down to the sheer beauty of the colour and appearance of this Rex Begonia. King Begonia will use its air-purifying qualities to remove harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins from the area around it, which should be an area of partial shade, as this is what the plant will appreciate. Direct sunlight will damage the leaves, so please avoid this. Watering should occur once a week, especially when the soil is dry to touch. That can continue until the plants dormant period of Winter when you can drop this to once every two weeks.
