Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: This bushy evergreen shrub has mid-green foliage as an ever-present feature. They are then joined by bold purple flowers in Spring and Summer
Growth & Spread: Ultimate height of 2.5 - 4m and spread of 1.5 – 2.5m. The Azalea will take 5-10 years to reach this height and spread.
Period of Interest: Spring and Summer will see the Azalea produce lovely purple flowers which give the shrub a bold and stylish look. The mid-green foliage stays through every season before it is joined by the purple in the warmer months of the year.
The Purple Azalea Japonicas are bold, stylish and trendy looking evergreen deciduous shrubs. They will add great character to any garden with the purple colour in Spring and Summer bringing a great richness in appearance. Planting the Azalea in a garden borders or bed is recommended as it will give it the perfect position to thrive and illuminate the garden.
Appreciating moist, well-drained soil, this shrub will also require a frequent water in the warmer months of the year. Spring and Summer is when the Azalea forms its purple flowers, so water in that period to keep them looking great. Partial shade is ideal with shelter also being good for it. Keeping it out of direct sunlight is key as the Azalea will cope better without it.

Love my Azalea
I really do love my Azalea. It was very well packed and arrived perfectly healthy. I can’t wait to watch it grow and flower. I’m pretty new to garden pride but I’m really enjoying it. I will use garden dreams again and I’m now looking for a Father’s Day gift for my garden loving dad
