Product Description
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi is an essential product that helps establish your plants, made with mycorrhizal fungi, a micro-organism with which trees have had a symbiotic relationship for millions of years. Once your plants are in the ground, it will develop a highly-active secondary root system, with the explicit purpose of exponentially increasing the uptake of water and nutrients, everything needed in order to allow your plants to flourish.
Characteristics: Columnar deciduous growing habit with beautiful orange and red lacy foliage in autumn and spring.
Growth & Spread: Upright growth with arching branches. Ultimate height and spread 3 – 4m.
Flourishing Season: Small red flowers appearing in early spring and through to mid-summer.
Water & Maintenance: Hardy, low maintenance shrub. Grows well in any soil. Maintain soil moisture and full or partial sun.
Acer palmatum ‘Seiryu’ is an easy option for any garden thanks to its bright colours and interesting foliage, providing shelter with its upright growing habit and arching branches laden with small, mid-green leaves. Seiryu’s colourful foliage really shines in the autumn, with beautiful reds and oranges remaining well into the autumn and early winter. Small buds appear in the early spring which quickly flourish and bloom in small red flowers providing some nice colour moving into summer.
A hardy and tough plant, Acer ‘Seiryu’ requires little maintenance and should grow well in any well-drained soil. Keep the soil moist and plant in full or partial sun, with partial sun being preferable for the best leaf colour.
