Care and Maintenance: Your Acer Going Green will thrive in moist but well-drained soil composed of Clay, Loam or Sand. Place in full sun or partial shade.

Acer palmatum ‘Going Green’ is a stunning deciduous Japanese maple cultivar that brings year-round interest to any garden. As a slow-growing, small, rounded tree with a bushy habit, it will suit any size space with little fuss.
The shrub’s upright stems are coloured in a bright, vivid grass-like green, and form a sense thicket of branches adorned by attractive, colour-changing foliage. The leaves will open lime green in spring, maturing to a deeper shade of green and finally turning to an array of beautiful reds and oranges.
In spring, some inconspicuous green flowering may appear, followed by winged, greed seed pods with a red tint.
